A Delaware native, Glenn graduated from MiddletownHigh School and The University of Delaware (Class of '76) with a BA in Communication. He began his broadcast career as a member of the news staff at 1600 WKEN in Dover as a reporter and the Sports Director. During his tenure there, the station was awarded the Associated Press' "Outstanding Sports Operation" for the Chesapeake Region in 1979, and received the same award for local news in 1980. Glenn shared play-by-play & color with Bill Satterfield in 1979 for Caesar Rodney football games, then took over play-by-play from 1981-2002 working with Chuck Williams, Terry Lovell, Mark Lewis & Art Morelli calling Caesar Rodney games for 1600-AM. Glenn joined 1410-WDOV in 2003 calling Dover & CR games until the station included Smyrna games in 2006. During that time period he broadcast two Blue-Gold All-Star games at Delaware Stadium. In 2008 Glenn teamed up with Stan "The Fan" Meyer to call the D-I championship game between Caesar Rodney & Sussex Central. Glenn has been the "Play-by-Play" announcer for over 325 high school football games and over 100 high school basketball games on several radio stations in KentCounty.
Glenn enters his 5th season with the UD broadcast crew, 3rd as color analyst. Affectionally known as "Fraz" by the crew, his most memorable Blue Hen games are the 1974 come-back win over McNeeseState - a game he attended with his father, and the 2007 win over Navy.
Glenn was named the "2008 Sportscaster of the Year" for the State of Delaware by the National Association of Sportscasters and Sportswriters.
STAN "THE FAN" MEYER - Color Analyst
Stan began his Delaware broadcast career on 1410 WDOV radio as a color analyst for the Dover Senator's games. He later joined Comcast as a sideline reporter, color analyst, and play-by-play for "The-Game-Of-The-Week".
"The Fan" called the first DIAA state championship game at Delaware State University's Alumni Stadium. He has also covered the annual DFRC Blue-Gold game giving him the honor of interviewing the Governor and Miss Delaware.
Stan returned to radio broadcasting in 2007-2009 for 1600-AM covering the "Game-of-the-Week". Glenn Frazer & Stan called the 2008 Divion I title game between Caesar Rodney and Sussex Central (only the 2nd all Henlopen-North championship game in history).
"Fan" resides in the Dover area and received his nick name attending hundreds of high school sporting events in lower Delaware, making him truly "THE FAN".
